Zero turnovers for Rollie, Ulis  and Sam in their 58 combined minutes. In a game against the best team in the country at turning opponents over, that's probably the most important stat right there.

I've been pretty hard on Rollie for how loose he gets with the ball sometimes. But you could tell from the very first possession that he was going to take ball security seriously. Not sure we win this game without his reliable ball handling.

Here is the KenPom Strength of Schedule for each team.  Can you tell which is which?

Strength of Schedule
Components: 107.0 117 107.0 221 106.2
Overall: +0.04 160 0.00
Non-conference: -3.15 272 0.00

Strength of Schedule
Components: 107.3 108 106.7 201 106.2
Overall: +0.63 142 0.00
Non-conference: -2.59 252 0.00

The answer is UCLA is the one on top (#160 overall SOS) and NU (#142) on the bottom.

Ironically, this game improved UCLA's SOS quite a bit more than ours.  #102 UCLA vs #109 NU now.

Aaaauuuggghhh! When you milk clock you wind up with poor shots.  Attack the basket!

Draining 30 seconds on those two possessions left UCLA a very small window to make a full comeback, it wasn't the worst idea. I'd prefer to have a shot going toward the rim, but the refs might let UCLA mug us again. You know what I mean?!

Or a fluke charge that fouled someone out/got someone more in foul trouble.
