ah ok...then yeah that would make sense.  There were almost as many 7-11's in Nebraska as there were corn fields back in the 80s.

I remember one on 29th and O, right by the Village Inn. Had these rolls with a creamy filling. God awful but I had one a day!

I went with some friends. I remember a 6’ 10”forward from Pitt or Maryland, Smith, I think. Also, I think K State was there, Blackwell played for them,I believe. What I remember the most were those damn basket extensions that came down from the ceiling. I sat right where it block my view some.

Wasn't Danny Manning and Kansas at the Lincoln Regional that year?  KU didn't have a great record but still made the Tournament. Lots of KU fans present and I believe the locals also were pulling for KU. They got hot and rode the momentum all the way to a National Championship.

Danny and the Miracles! So sweet beating them!

His 3pt stroke/form looks like Reink's somewhat.

Also, us recruiting him might be more evidence about our fears regarding Mast's knees 😥

It seem like we're recruiting as if it's true that Mast will be sitting out next year so this may just be evidence that Igor is not coming to Nebraska

Frankie to MSU

Yeah.  Sort of a bummer.  I initially did not think that was a fit.  Izzo knows a heck of a lot more than me...so we shall see.

No inside knowledge but Michigan so far has taken

Sam Walters

Danny wolf

Are looking like they'll get vlad goldin from FAU and have reached out to TJ power.

He did say he was coming back, but Dusty seems to be recruiting over him as it stands. That's 3 guys between the 4 and 5, and are still recruiting that 4 spot. More a want tbh.

I still really really like him. There may be some overlap with Morgan, but experience in the big ten matters.

Bill Raftery, “Send it in Jerome!” In reference to Jerome Lane.  Had fun attending those games.

Xavier actually practiced in the Pius gym the day before their game. They were not too popular at BDSC when they entered.

Xavier had complained about being assigned to Lincoln.  They were roundly booed upon entry.  Pete Gillen was a good coach.

I don’t know enough about knee operations, maybe because I’m still under 40. But without a major injury, like a torn ligament, what kind of knee operation would keep someone off the court for a whole season?

Career 73% from the field raises eyebrows. However, Wilhelm Breidenbach took his spot in the starting lineup this year.

He's a more than serviceable traditional post player. Certainly playing the odds we won't recruit him when making that joke.  With Breidenbach it always brings up the question of whether we lack the ability and/or the patience to develop post players.
