Was running through a quick glance at some bubble teams and man… Indiana St is way way out at this point.  Probably needs the auto bid.

They don’t have any quality left in the regular season to boost them.  Their singular Q1 win is teetering on a Q2 and likely will get there which would leave them winless in Q1.  It’s over for them pending an auto bid.

Rest of bubble teams in thread too.

I was tracking until JBR said that Nebraska needs to be able to win on the road, does no one count winning in Sioux Falls or Manhattan, Kansas? I understand NU beating Oregon St. isn't the greatest accomplishment, but hardly anybody wins at the Octagon of Purpleness !

I think it's all about what you "hear" sometimes.  And if you watch our games the announcers always start out with our road woes and how we're winless on the road in conference... yada, yada.  Then later, there might be a side comment about how we won in Manhattan or are 1-0 in neutral games.  That win in Manhattan was huge and is growing larger by the day.  That's one we can still point to and, should we win 1-2 on the road to end the year hear, say "see, we've got 2-3 true road wins".

I do agree that it's an albatross right now being winless on the Big Ten road, as the only other B1G team without a road conference victory is Ohio St. -- and they fired their coach !! Tonight it changes, the Big Red will beat the Hoosier-daddy outta 'em.

The team that makes me scratch my head in that list is Utah. They could finish with a record a game below us and be in while we would be out? Are their wins over Wake, WSU and St. Mary’s better than Purdue, NW, Wis and MSU?

Does anyone know what it would take to get us above the last four byes? As nice as it is to see Nebraska on the brackets, I’d love it to be above that last ten in. Could it happen if we lose only at Ohio state?

We for sure would be a lock.  I'd say we're looking at an 8/9 seed.

We’ll probably be above the last 4 bye area until we lose again.  Especially if we beat Minny.  But in a lot of updates tomorrow, we should be in that 9-10 seed range.

Yes, they did.

22+ wins is probably the only way to avoid sweating it out on selection sunday.

i still think we'd be in with 21, but don't think it'd be a sure thing.

This is a perfectly worded post. I agree with every piece of it.

The nice thing is that unless we collapse, only getting 21 wins is starting to look unlikely.

Yeah, I think only about half the teams that go there win, so this checks out as true.

Move us to "should be in." Last night did it for me, I'm checking flights and hotels. I know this is Nebraska basketball, but I don't see us falling apart in these last 4 games, and we've done enough on Feb 22 to be in

Let's just keep rollin' through the rest of the schedule. Three consecutive double-digit victories already, keep it goin'!!

I'm prayin' that OMAHA is still a distinct possibility if they keep rollin' through the remaining schedule, including the BTT. GBR

Tang started out 28-2 at home, maybe this season hasn't gone as well, i.e. Nebrasketball broke them (as we did to UW), but the Purple Reign still beat K.U. at their Octagon, so it's kinda snarky to act like it wasn't a big win for N.U.

While the 2 seed is definitely a reach… a top 4 seed is certainly in play with the schedule we have remaining!  Would be great to achieve that!

A double bye would be incredible. And it would likely mean the Husker were rollin' during the final few regular season games, as 3 straight double-digit wins would indicate the trajectory remains within reach for top 4 in the B1G. GBR

Yeah it's amazing the difference in what having (and then not having) Keyontae Johnson on your team makes eh?
