Is that his first offer? Looks like it might be good to be early on this kid.

It is. Loenser's been keeping his eye on him since last year.

A'mare's still pretty raw but he has the touch to become a good shooter and has terrific length. Needs to keep learning how to play the right way (takes too many tough, contested mid-range jumpers), but there's plenty of upside there as he gets stronger.

Awesome. Love to see them getting more active locally.

Well then here's to making ourselves a bigger fish this year!

Definitely down with that. I'm talking like Duke big. Unsure if he'll get that offer but that's what he wants.

Who ever gets A'mare is certainly getting a project. I recently saw him play, there's a lot there to work with... Like, it's "all there." Just none of it is there yet. Also, just looking at his build - I'm not so sure he's not done growing yet. Roughly 6'8" now - could he be a 6'10" guy?

For folks who have seen him play, can you shed some light on why people who are involved in Nebraska high school hoops aren’t nearly as high on him as people nationally are? Just watching his highlights (which of course don’t tell the whole story) his skillset looks to me like he’s equal parts Derrick Walker and Rienk Mast. Seems to be a perfect fit for Hoiberg’s offense.

@Jacob Padilla is who I would ask about this.
