He's interesting solely on the fact that he isn't lacking talent at all. Top 3 bigs in the rotation are set imo with allick being a guy who can play the 4 or 5, so Adrame would be coming here for long term development, which imo he needs.

Other layer to this, allick and keita have both missed quite a bit of time the past few years. So andrame would have an opportunity to provide relief for them god forbid. If he figures out how to use his talent, I can definitely see a world where he pushes keita for his spot. Only other schools he's visited have been San Jose state and new Mexico state. With the July trip creeping up, I hope he decides soon so he can get minutes with the team overseas

Ouch x 2.  I cracked my sternum in my junior year.  Just a crack; but the doctor let me play as long as I could handle the pain.  I played...and I'm still pissed at the doctor.

Knowing high school kids, you'd be pissed at him had he not let you play.

This wouldn't be a terrible pickup:

https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/37916105/alabama-guard-jahvon-quinerly-enter-transfer-portal

Quinerly, a former five-star recruit in the class of 2018, started his college career with one season at Villanova before transferring to Alabama. He averaged 12.9 points during his first campaign in Tuscaloosa, then started 27 games as a junior and averaged 13.8 points and 4.2 assists.

After tearing his ACL in March 2022, Quinerly moved to the bench this past season -- but coach Nate Oats inserted him into the starting lineup for the SEC and NCAA tournaments. Over his final nine games, he averaged 14.4 points and 4.0 assists, shooting nearly 38% from 3-point range.

I would bet a lot of everyone else's money that there will be a post on here shortly of a tweet stating that we are one of the dozen+ schools that have reached out to Quinerly.

Perhaps much would depend on his relationship with Juwan.

How can I get in on this??

Honestly I think it's as simple as asking random strangers for access to their online bank account information

That's brilliant! Why hasn't anybody thought of that?

Of course, I wouldn't give my bank information to anybody... except a pen pal friend I just met over email. He's a prince in Nigeria who started up a conversation the other day. Good guy. Just in a bind and looking for me to help him out. Should come with a 100x return. Can't wait to get rich!

On Jahvan Quinerly, Memphis is reported to be the initial leader.

So, here are some tidbits from a Memphis message board:

  • "Updated list of schools showing interest for Alabama transfer guard Jahvon Quinerly: Memphis Miami Auburn + more"
  • "Miami is the NIL capital. It's over"
  • "Wonder who the +more is. Prob some odd ball schools like Nebraska again."

The Nebraska school for wayward Iowa PGs

I liked his toughness at Iowa. A defensive backcourt of ulis and toussaint moves me also. Would be awesome.

The "maybe" portion of that leaves me a bit worried he'll never make it here, but we'll see

Texas Tech = 2019 National Runners-Up, 2018 Elite Eight, 2022 Sweet Sixteen

Kansas State = 2018 and 2023 Elite Eight

Alabama = 2023 #1 seed, 2021 and 2023 Sweet Sixteen

Gonzaga = 2023 Elite Eight, 2017 and 2021 National Runners-Up

Miami = 2023 Final Four, 2022 Elite Eight

...and may also visit Nebraska...

Ahron Uhlis splitting time with Joe Toussaint is the natural state of the universe

Yeah.

I still don't get why any of the guys we've been pursuing would have come here (that's, of course, easy to say, now that they haven't).  Why would anyone with aspirations to play a lot jump into a place that doesn't have an immediate and pressing need?

At the risk of using an example that could trash my theory, the Uhlis/Toussaint duo at point guard would be a perfect example.
