REDZONEDAN Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) I’ll never forget that game winning three that he made against Iowa. Top 10 Nebrasketball moment for me. RIP Dylan. Edited March 5, 2022 by REDZONEDAN Quote
AuroranHusker Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 Dylan Talley was a Husker through and through. Will miss him being on this earth. Thoughts to those near and dear to D.T. at this time. Quote

hal9000 Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 Was it Dylan who scored the last points at the Bob? God rest his soul. Have fun hooping in heaven Dylan! Quote
Faux Mike Peltz Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 Always remember him and Ubel and the two that kind of transitioned from Doc’s era to Miles. His game winner vs Iowa is vivid. RIP basketballjones 1 Quote
AuroranHusker Posted March 5, 2022 Report Posted March 5, 2022 Besides the Iowa game to help close out the Devaney on a winning note (also beat Minny!), a game I specifically recall is against Michigan St. at BDSC, it wasn't because NU won the game, quite the contrary. It was the grit, toughness, and fight led by Dylan Talley to keep the game within reach until the final moments. That Husker team had no business being within ear-shot of the mighty top-ten Spartans. I think the final was 73-64. Talley tallied nearly 30 that night. What a warrior. Rest in heaven, Husker brother. basketballjones 1 Quote

To answer my own question, I had Dylan's shot at the end of the Iowa game confused with the Minnesota game (the final game at the Bob) in my head. Brandon Ubel iced the Gophers with 4 straight free throws in the final 11 seconds. Dylan had 12 points in that game. Red Don and basketballjones 2 Quote
