Word on the street he is in street clothes while the rest of the team practices. Anyone know why?

He’s been doing workouts with the team. But in practices he’s been on the sidelines wearing street clothes. In one Instagram story he said, “Can’t wait til I get to hoop.” This was last week so perhaps he’s practicing now. Washut says we’ll know more tomorrow when the media gets access to the team.

I would assume that he has had to finish up coursework to become eligible to compete.

Well i guess its good its not an injury. I dont know the specifics, but hopefully academics wont be a reoccuring theme with Cam Mack or anyone else on the team.

It’s a graduation issue, not a grades issue, according to this post by klrgumby on Red Sea Scrolls:

He is a 4-2-4 juco rule guy so he has to graduate since he started out first at Stephen F Austin out of HS before transferring to his juco. Had he gone juco out of HS he’d have been cleared already.

Seems probable that he'll pass whatever class he took this summer then.

Not So!     I think its a pretty good attitude to come in with; ie   that you have to get better (and earn your place),  especially with all the hype surrounding his recruitment.

No, that's not the case: it's because he was in the hospital, likely case of food poisoning.

Did the a.d. or coach communicate anything about Cam being hospitalized and not going to Italy?  A little odd to me that initial communication comes from Cam.
