This is Gonzaga's 5th straight Sweet 16 appearance? Wow.

Call it a cupcake conference, but they sure know how to play on the national level when it matters.

They beat Duke with Zion this year. Wouldn’t be surprised if they went all the way this year. They’re easy to root for.

The NCAA tournament is a better place when the Big East teams are all finished by Saturday of the opening weekend.

The Big East rested on its Nova laurels. Reminds me of $EC football hanging on dearly to Bama's coattails.

You're really going out on a limb there.  But I think you're probably right.

There are 8 B1G teams dancin'. That's easily the worst take ever by P-Mar. ? ? ?

Azubuike, De Souza and Vick would have probably made a difference. And speaking of cheaters, how about that Bruce Pearl? At least I picked Auburn in my bracket, so I had that going. And the game was so bad that I was able to take in the final episode of year three of "Justified" that I missed on the first go around. (The game was more brutal than the episode).

Iowa determined to  shame the B1G today. Back to their old stealth defense.

Going totally off scoreboard, granted.

It's going to be down to OSU pulling off a miracle.

They actually don't look too bad right now.

No, they finally figured out this elusive "defense" thing and have made it a game again. Only down 5. Ferocious comeback. Man, had they not dug such a massive hole.

Iowa-Tougher than a weekend at your in-laws.  (Except for the last 90 seconds against Nebraska)

And We beat Iowa 93-91 in OT, last game of the season!

Well, Iowa salvages the conferences rep. They went down slugging. Hard to come back from that putrid first half, but they almost did.

So one of the two jewels of the SEC barely squeaks by a .500 B1G team.

The hoops gods have spoken.
