  1. A much of possible fit Mile's comedy act would be at UNLV, he'd probably be run out of town when he doesn't win, just like he will here. Some coaches aren't big-time. Miles has shown that.
  2. You're coming off to strong for Norm here, he certainly has an agenda of defending Miles. If not, he doesn't have much for aspirations for the program. Look at Miles record, his record against Creighton, and his lack of ability to lead teams with enough talent to the NCAA tournament. Insults aside, results are what really matters.
  3. Luckily, he's not quite there to be a legit NBA prospect. I think he stays in college somewhere.
  4. I wouldn't put it past Altman to pull that off. Wisconsin looks a little shaky.
  5. MICH STATE WITH TOUGH SEED, LAST #2 SEED
  6. I don't want to be mean, but I have to question the blind faith (or intellegence??) of Handy if he's serious about taking Tim over Hoiberg. Goodness, I understand loyalty, but when a guy isn't getting the job done, you have to find someone who will. Tim has done nothing to help himself win his way into the tournament with multiple opportunities to do so. It's a miracle that we hung on the bubble as long as we did. I don't know that I have seen a team implode the way this one did in my history of watching NU basketball. You just have to expect more. The he's a nice guy stuff doesn't win you games. There are way more red flags that have cropped up than reasons to believe he can turn it around. I'm sure those are well covered in the board's archives. I watched one of them beat Kansas last night and make the dance. Can't blame the kid for the choice he made, looks like he made the right choice.
  7. "You are what your record says you are"... Bill Parcells, NFL legendary coach, NY Giants. He wasn't real big on making excuses for losing alot.
  8. I'm sorry, I always get confused when the guy next to me at games starts up on this. In comparison to other like programs in terms of conference, geography, and financial ability....could you please elaborate on how the administration hasn't taken the program "seriously"? I frequent Kansas State games and on occasion, Wichita State. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that our administration has provided exponentially better facilities and financial backing into our basketball program than either of those two. One thing that I really don't think has any credibility to explain away our lack of tournament appearances in the past 7 years is a blame on administrative backing. That sounds like sour grapes to me.
