Both those guys will have to sit a year due to transfer anyways.  So they would be able to play after Glynn, Palmer, Copeland are graduates.

Even more of a reason to wish we'd hear about some big guys hearing from us.

Evansville sophomore guard Dru Smith told ESPN he has heard from Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Missouri, Ball State, Northeastern, Richmond and VCU. Averaged 14 points per game this past season for the Aces. (Washut on Twitter)

He's an Indiana guy. I wonder if Lewis knows him.

Not overly impressed so far by what's available, but maybe my standards are too high. Any chance this freshman Bagley from Duke becomes available?

I've heard he's leaving Duke, but the list of teams he's looking at is pretty short and they all have bag men that are well-funded.

The real question is, will Illinois even have a basketball program next year?

I'm sure lots of people were asking that question about the Huskers about this time a year ago.   And we go 13-5 in league.   I wouldn't write anyone off during transfer and early departure season.
