Considering the reports we'd hear about Ulis from last year he must have a really good personality

Actually he'd probably need to pay back whatever he's had the past two years. Ahron Ulis has a brother, Tyler, who was an NBA PG for the Suns & Bulls, isn't that incredible?!? (By the way, Tyler Ulis is now an assistant coach for John Calipari at Arkansas.)

Back to the topic at hand, is it a near certainty that Rienk Mast will be back for his final year of eligibility? I hope so, the only dudes left from the roster who he played with are walk-ons, primarily Sam Hoiberg as far as an in-game contributor.

I would assume so— he can make more here than he would overseas I would think.

He did not walk on senior day 

Mast is really the only “Proven” Commodity heading into next season. 

May be totally off base here, but I believe Mast's passing ability will greatly assist a guy like Connor who was missed on multiple cuts to the hoop this year. If Connor can really work to elevate his defensive efficiencies this offseason, add me into a column of a Keisei Jr to Sr year type jump for Connor.

(And no, I'm not saying that Connor will be Keisei 2.0 -- I'm more saying he could make quite the leap)

Back at full Mast fellas!

The contrast between Mast handling the ball in Fred's offense and what we had to witness this year from the big men is almost comical.

This is amazing he is back but we absolutely have to find someone in the portal who can rebound and protect the rim. Very clear delineation between Mast's good games and Mast's bad games two years ago.

It’s why I don’t think we can start Berke and Mast together.   Will be very slow and athletic front court.    We need an explosive player to pair alongside Mast to make up for his shortcomings.   

Thank goodness that Fred has Rienk back at full Mast. We really need some positive mojo this off-season that translates into positive mojo on the court next year. GBR
