Well....shit.
Report reply basketballjones 3,441 Posted May 2 This Stienks. Definitely not full Mast right now. Hopefully this means he has intentions of coming back for the '25-'26 season as like a 24 year old. huskercabby 1 Quote Share this comment

Report reply huskercabby 15 Posted May 2 I was thinking this would be the reason he wouldn’t play for the Huskers this year. Quote Share this comment
Report reply HuskerMB 12 Posted May 2 (edited) Not the best news, but hopefully he uses his additional year of eligibility. I'm guessing he would have just left if he really wasn't considering that additional year. It's looking like Morgan will be our starter at the 5 spot at the moment. I still think we need another PF with some eligibility left though. I trust the staff will do a good job finding someone to fill that role. Report reply huskercabby 15 Posted May 2 By the way, I’m not a fan of him eating up a scholarship this year. No guarantee he’ll ever be 100% again. This also explains how we approached our big men recruiting. Report reply AGHANSEN 152 Posted May 2 Brutal news. I was confident we would return to the tourney this year and even win a game. Now, I don't feel good about it at all, unless we land a big name in the portal. Quote Share this comment

We’re kind of screwed My man, we used a scholarship on Blaise Keita and Ramel Lloyd and we still had guys transfer out because they were unhappy with lack of playing time. Mast is now our 5th guy on scholarship in 2025-26. In terms of scholarship usage, this is a no-brainer. This was perhaps one of the worst kept secrets as well. This news simply confirms what has been floating about for several weeks. Here is hoping and praying that surgery and recovery goes well. We’re not going 13 deep this year either, so using one for our (possible) 25-26 center isn’t screwing us. Report reply Swan88 2,071 Posted May 3 One good thing about Red Sea Scrolls is this: they have an “Ignore” button that, when utilized, hides every post that the ignored poster makes—don’t have to see it on my feed. Here’s a basic rule for living life: avoid negative people at all costs. The “Ignore” button helps make that rule happen—and there are a lot of negative posters on that board!!
