Norm Peterson Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 I was told he and his family love it here, well, don't read to much in to that, it was from the same person who thought we let Fleming get away. I know who your source is. Quote
lanigan123 Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 That's fine, I've put on here before who I talk to, many of you dogged him. Quote
Creighton Fan Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 So when will our closing percentage start to go up. So when will our closing percentage start to go up.It's down? Compared to what? So because following basketball recruiting is a thing around here now and because we hear about all the basketball recruits...we hear about all the misses, right? So far we've closed on: Hammond Tarin Smith Moses Ayegba What is our closing percentage and what is a good one? I guess it will go up whenever the next one decides to commit. Dont think he ever said it was down at all. He just wants it to go up. Why is that sucha bad thing to want? Quote
Norm Peterson Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 That's fine, I've put on here before who I talk to, many of you dogged him. Not without good reason.  Can I just add that he has NEVER delivered a player to Nebraska? Neither to the women's program nor the men's.  He also said Miles wasn't ready for a Big Ten coaching gig coming out of CSU and would have preferred we go after other coaching targets.  Might there be a little bit of an axe to grind with your source, since he hoped for a position with this staff and didn't get one? lanigan123 Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Maybe, but that's not the context of my conversation with him. He has never dogged the staff, he has said good things about them. I think we could have had one of them. I don't repeat everything. Are you on rivals? Did you see the miles hired thread? Many were against it including former players. Quote

Cookie Belcher Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 Robin just had a quick update that Jordan has wrapped up his visit and did not commit (obviously). Â He said it was "definitely not what he expected" and he "walked away very, very impressed". Â Also said there will be a full update later. Quote

Minnesota_Husker Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 I would love to get this kid, and would hope he was just retweeting the UNLV fans to mess around... Â But if he was actually retweeting them because he didnt like his OV, that is not cool. Â I get he is an 18 year old, but just because something isnt a great fit, doesnt give you the right to disrespect that school. Â Â Might be nothing, but still. Quote
lanigan123 Posted May 13, 2014 Report Posted May 13, 2014 I think it comes down to us and Wake Forest. Quote

Silverbacked1 Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 Anybody see his last two tweets? Kinda makes me think see ya, thanks Nebraska but no thanks. Although free weekend in Vegas isn't bad, but being 18 and with mom and dad could put a hitch in your get-a-long. Quote
The Coach Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 I lost hope as soon as I found out he knows Adam Barnes. Â Have we ever landed a recruit who works with "Coach" Barnes? Â I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it always seems like they end up signing with somebody else. Quote
Silverbacked1 Posted May 14, 2014 Report Posted May 14, 2014 plus the family got stuck in Denver again because of weather and lack of pilot. Best part is we only need to wait a week. Quote
