I'm sure this is the thread where if a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it....

Coach Hoiberg and Henry T did an entertaining and informative 30 minutes on a show I rarely listen to.  Just happened to catch it this morning.  Scroll down and you'll find the interview.

The Morning Hookup On Demand - KFOR FM 101.5 1240 AM (kfornow.com)

Went out of his way to bring up Eli Rice… something like “a guy that we don’t talk about enough is…”

I think Rice gets early minutes.  Thinking 9-10 deep early in year with all the cupcakes.

I really hope so. I want to get a good look at all these new guys. And a added bonus it means we're taking care of business with the cupcakes

I'm REALLY looking forward to the November schedule for that reason. I can't remember the last time we had the chance to get off to a good start like this. No road games and the only P5 game is neutral site against the projected worst team in the PAC-12.

I like how Fred snuck in a Simeon Wilcher mention. St. John’s has a deep team with a lot of guards. We’re gonna need another point guard next year…

St. John's also has 3 projected starting guards graduating after this year, so Wilcher will be starting next year. And he's playing for Rick Pitino. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Simeon played the most minutes of those coming off the bench in their scrimmage last week. As a true freshman, I think that's a pretty good indicator of where Pitino has him in the pecking order.

All except the UCONN transfer will still have an extra year of eligibility. I'm not getting my hopes up. Nothing wrong with having CJ and JL keep putting in a good word for us, though.

Oh no doubt. I just remember seeing this tweet from an interview with his pops and thought "well he's not going anywhere"

I'd say that with the Wisconsin game on the same day that we didn't sell this one out

Ticket prices didn’t help either… Almost $90 for one game, or you can get half a season at home

ya they were a bit pricey.  I got some behind the hoop for $55 a piece.  Hopefully they will be decent seats.
