Pitt picked up a SF commit tonight. Maybe that helps us a little bit.

EDIT: Did a little more digging. The player's name is Jamel Artis and he's a three-star PF out of Notre Dame Prep (a teammate of Matthew Atewe). The story I read listed him as a small forward, so maybe he's a tweener like Sai.

Anybody hear if he made in to town?

I haven't heard that he didn't, so I would assume that he made it down.  I would think that Washut would have let people know if he didn't make it down when he was scheduled.  I have no inside info.  That's just what I would assume.

The only reference I know does not explain much,,,

In video games, the term "outro" refers to a sequence of graphics/ music presented to the player as a reward for successful completion of the entire game.

It's a good thing he doesn't leave Lincoln until the 14th and not the 13th when he tweeted that. Would lead one to believe the recruiting trip left a bad taste in his mouth. Maybe he didn't like the outros because he knew the recruiting trip or the weekend was coming to an end tomorrow! :)

Another interpretation I would be more than happy to adopt!

Ahh the speculation... if people would just write words, we would know what they are talking about! Instead they use txt lingo nd then no1 nos wht the heck they r talkin bout.

You need to look at the comment as coming from a 4.0 student, who may actually use a lexicon his buds understand while keeping weird old guys that "follow" them in the dark....We will know when he or somebody want us to know.

Haha you can be a 4.0 student and still use text lingo... Trust me I know.

Weeeeell, don't know what to make of that.  Hopefully, it was in reference to the waiter or waitress who forgot to keep his ice water filled.  Maybe.

Y'know, we Husker fans have had too many close calls and near misses in recruiting that we always seem to wonder and worry about things that might not even pertain.  And I'm probably among the worst offenders.

Oh well, we'll know soon enough, huh?

According to that most reliable of on-line information sources, Wikipedia, "In video gaming, the term 'outro' refers to a sequence of graphics and music presented to the player as a reward for successful completion of the entire game. Outros are also commonly referred to as the game's ending. They can range from anywhere between a simple text message congratulating the player for beating the game, to a full cutscene that serves to bring the game's storylineto a conclusion (similar to the ending of a movie)."

So, clearly, he's talking about a new game app he downloaded for his iphone while he was in the airport.  So, nothing to worry about.  Maybe.

Or maybe he's saying he loves the weekend but hates when it ends. As in, he's having a blast. He didn't say THIS weekend, he said "THE" weekend. Highly doubt he would be talking trash about his visit while he's still on it. Think this could actually be GOOD news.

The Weeknd (spelled in this manner) is a Toronto R&B artist and, in my opinion, does tend to have extended endings (outros) to many of his songs.

So, though I could be wrong, I think this could be simple case of old guys not knowing current, (semi) popular music. And just so you know that us younger guys can still appreciate some of the classics, too, I just got back from seeing Mick Fleetwood and friends earlier tonight. But goodness, those guys are old. ;)

In the world of "my guess is as bad as anyone else's," Beadle may be on to something: here is a

called "The Weeknd - Outro," and here is
"OUTRO (THE WEEKND)."
