The Polish Rifle
I hate to dwell on this, but he really F'd this team. 99% of getting a dub or two in the tournament is matchup. I highly doubt we get A&M if Trev doesn't do what he did. NW the past two seasons get overrated, ice cold, mid majors. We get a P5 team with a top 10 ceiling, playing their best ball. So thanks Trev, parting gift of a lifetime. jason2486, BigTate, Ron Mexico and 3 others 2
millerhusker
I might be the only one left who still thinks it could’ve been a good matchup for us. Yeah they’re more athletic than we are. But so was K-State and many other teams we beat this year. A&M averages 6 made threes per game. In the first 10 minutes of the game last night they went 6-7 from three. We were still winning at that time but from there the lane started to open up for them. They kept making threes so we couldn’t take anything away at that point. If they shot just a respectable 35% from the arc (much better than their average) and we make 5 of the 7 or 8 essentially uncontested layups that we missed, we win the game. A&M earned the win, no doubt. I’m gonna be real pissed when they come out and miss their first 7 threes tomorrow. hhcmatt, tcp and cornfed24-7 1

Cazzie22
Houston and A&M played earlier in the year to a 4 point game. The Aggies will show up.
tcp
this tournament owes us some luck of the good variety in sizeable quantites. i suspect it's going to be the time when we get our first win...and then our 2d, 3rd, etc..... Hopefully Fred's bldg a program, and not just the team that goes every few years so there's not this level of epic pressure every decade. doc1394
Of the 8 teams in Memphis yesterday, the only teams Nebraska was more athletic than was Colgate and Longwood. It was jarring seeing Baylor warm up. They don’t look like us. It’s why the B1G rarely does well in the tournament

We need to run it back. What ratchet ups the pressure is when it is so long between appearances. The core of this group in Mast, Gary, and Williams will be back add to that Lawerence and a more experienced Rice and Diop. Now just need a few pieces

FredsSlacks
I can't blame trev for wanting a 30% raise and be in the SEC. what else was there for him to do at nebraska anyways? he already hired his football coach and got the stadium project started. if anything his job security here could have quickly wavered if rhule puts up 2 more 5 win seasons.
