So far as the game went, my snap decision to attend the game was somewhat disappointing, needless to say. We froze our butts off at the Rose Parade and I missed the flyover of the stealth bomber while trying to buy a hot cup of overpriced coffee. My only brush with celebrity was eating breakfast in the hotel coffee shop and noticing that Jerry West was sitting at the next table. I didn't try to get an autograph which I would have undoubtedly done if it had been Larry Bird.

I watched several episodes of whatever it was called on HBO about the Lakers.  The way they both were portrayed, neither of them would have signed an autograph. I'm sure that portrayal was incorrect.

Actually, it seems there's 1 scenario where Iowa can become a 5 seed. That's Iowa over Illinois and Indiana over Michigan State.

 

So #5-13 still up in the air.

They'll be desperate and play with some motivation in Minneapolis, too, because they could move into bubble status with a deep run. I'd prefer not to see them on the #11 line.

The leg spreads and hip checks on high screens really need to be a so-called 'point of emphasis' for the rules committee and the Consortium of Stooges.  Not having watched the game, I suspect Sissoko was the main culprit.  He's one of the worst I've ever seen.
