another big margin. geez, the feat or faine thing is getting annoying. either world beaters or egg beaters.

welp, hopefully this can get a few decent games out of them before they return to this same lesson for a third time.

Not a good game but we sure weren't helped by playing 3 games in 6 days. Especially when two were against WI and Purdue. No legs left.

this is generally where I'm at. this was an unreasonable schedule. PSU people still bitcch about this all these years later. This conference punishes newbies like none I've ever seen.

It was 3 games in 7 days actually. And there were two days off between each game. NBA goes every other day. No classes. Not an excuse to me.

Everyone in the conference has a stretch like this. But sure, the conspiracy.

4 games in 10 days. That's a tough stretch. They lacked energy and discipline early. Too big of a deficit when you shoot 4 of 26 on threes and the other team is 15 for 35 on threes. It's one game, need to focus on bettering their own deficiencies so that the next road game is a positive outcome. GBR

Yeah, I have a beef to pick with the big ten schedulers. Idk if it's just us, and Januarys are usually hectic like this, but ffs this is brutal. No rest, all opponents get extra day of prep. But all that said, no excuses. We fought in the first half, but I'm mad. The defense was so piss - poor, there's no excuse. Just like we've had to learn how to win, we have to learn to win on the road, at least sometimes. It's disappointing too, since that was an empty arena and likely a beat shot at beating them away. Oh well.

I fell asleep around 10 p.m. EST, or just about 15 minutes after the Huskers did.

I got stuck out of town due to the weather. Had planned to stay up and watch but fell asleep before it ever started. Really happy I did.

I appreciate his candor, but that video is terrifying. It demonstrates an emotional “fragility” that I thought we’d moved beyond.

I’ve got not issue with this. Seems like he and his sister are emotional people and he was pissed. The concern I have here is how he made it seem like there are guys not on the same page on the team.

He understands they’re too talented to play this poorly & it’s happening too often. I also wish he (they) didn’t feel weighed down by this “Winning a Tournament Game”  Gorilla & just focus on playing their BEST Basketball. Everything else will take care of itself.

We aren't going to be 4 - 26 from 3 again.  Just like we aren't going to be 14 - 23 again.  Just splitting the difference makes it a much closer game.

Exactly. We just went from one extreme to the other.

4 of 26 from 3 says "no legs" to me ... as did the inability to stay in front of anyone ... and the late closeouts on 3s ... and the slow start ... etc. Throw in all the energy we had to spend just to get it back to even early in the 2nd half, and the collapse over the final 15 minutes probably shouldn't have been that big of a surprise (although things like this always seem to catch me off guard as they're happening).

We just had too much emotion and too much energy involved Tuesday to bounce back that fast against a team that hadn't traveled since Jan 2 had almost a full week to rest up / prepare. There was a reason Vegas made us a 4.5 point dog. The bounce back games are always really tough.

Makes Wednesday's game in the armpit of the B1G all that more important. I feel like we have to get 3 B1G road wins at some point to be comfortable.

Oh, pal, it get s a lot worse. If you were paying attention, those were clearly illuminati wrist bands the refs were wearing and I also spotted the Grand High Poopoo clearly flashing had signals to the refs to ensure that the HUskers lose. But yeah, it's only a conspiracy "theory". I'd call it.....conspiracy fact.
