The usual kind of jeering and yelling us old timers like to do is fine, it's the football people and younger guys who just like to scream or be boobirds.

One of my pet peeves again is the inconsistency.  They held and slapped the entire 1st half, and the refs seemed to swallow the whistle.  The 2nd half we were in the bonus within 5 minutes.  I understand Duquesne's frustration.  It was not a foul in the 1st half, but is in the 2nd half?

That said, excellent second half.  They were a feisty bunch who went toe to toe with us.  A good win against a good team.

This game just showed the arsenal we have with this roster. So many different skills that compliment each other. It reminds me of the 09-10 season but the players are better and we aren't reminded constantly that Lance Jeter played football at Cincinnati

He has a serious affect, it's not that he isn't trying... far from it, he's just such a smooth operator. Brice Williams is a nice player. Maybe he needs to get a bit more nasty, maybe somebody tell him that a C.U. dude stole his girl.

Crazy that both TOs happened in the 1st three minutes of the ballgame, too. I usually am irritated by the sloppy turnovers throughout the contest, but tonight I could concentrate my efforts by being irritated by Floppy McFloppyerson !

If it is me and all those guys come back. I go for a combo guard who can get buckets and a high energy guy like Josiah. Hopefully Rice and Matar are ready next year (think Rice is ready now if needed)

Creightons only lost one game.  No sense in them brining it out yet.  At least wait until they lose to us too.

Beside Rice and Diop, we also have Ahron Ulis (transfer point guard from Iowa) on our roster and he will be eligible next year.  He'll bring three year's experience playing in the BIG 10 conference plus a redshirt year learning our system.
