Winning is fun!

- Minnesota's injured players was a huge factor, especially Robbins.

- McGowens was the best player on the floor tonight for NU. Too bad he had to sit on the bench for a crucial stretch in the second half.

- Banton was terrific today.

- If we never get to see Derrick Walker play in person, I'm going to be sad.

- I wouldn't be upset to see Kobe or Thor return.

- There were a lot of scoring droughts in this one. From both teams. That's why they're both gonna play on the first day of the Big Ten tournament.

- NU has some limitations, that's not a surprise to anyone here. But they also can get very careless with the ball at times. When they eliminate those, we'll see them take a jump. They did a better job of that in the second half.

- Marcus Carr was really good. That first half was ridiculous.

- Teddy Allen was way off tonight. Impressive that Coach sat him.

- Of course Minnesota made a comeback.

- Free throws, missed front ends specifically, are killer...

- Webster with the clutch free throws. He looked like he's done that before.

- And then Thor hits two more! Way to close that out!

Each Senior(guess we are counting Walker today) arguably had their best game of the year. Glad to see Thor and Webster play with some confidence.

Hopefully Teddy is alright...not sure if it was his wrist or if he just didn’t have it today. Chance to get 2 more down the stretch. Finish strong for next year.

This game is probably a good reminder that if we roll out a team that can make shots, we can win a lot of games.  The future is bright if we have enough deep threats out there.  Turnovers are still a major problem but we also had 19 assists and almost 6 guys in double figures.  I expect more games like that next season.

Baby steps.  Hold onto a big lead.  Next step needs to be maintaining a big lead.  And, finally extending the lead.  We still have a winnable game left with Northwestern, and if we play well enough, Rutgers.

Probably won't have Teddy very much this next week.  Probably rest his wrist for Rutgers and Iowa, and let him go against Northwestern.

To be fair, the Gophers were without two key players.  A loss tonight  for NU would have really been a low point.

No arguments here. And reality is, they should probably keep him. But they're riled up about a Northwestern and Nebraska loss. Pile that up with a limited roster, high hopes in February for a postseason run, and losing two bad games, they're up in arms right now.

Sometimes when watching this team a certain Bill Callahan quote from his time with the Raiders comes to mind.  Having said that, glad we got the win and didn’t piss it away. Especially happy for the seniors.

Raise your hand if you've seen two 41 point games in the past week where the player who scored 41 points was on the losing team.

*You all should be raising your hand.*

The Big Ten, man.... Brutal!
