Suns roster is pretty much set. He could still sign a two-way contract with them, but I’d say it’s just as likely that he’ll get picked up by another team. Lots of unsigned players play in the summer league for one team and end up at another team’s training camp. What is a two-way contract? Quote

hhcscott Posted July 17, 2019 Report Posted July 17, 2019 10 fouls per player? I think only Aaron Craft could foul out of that league. busticket 1 Quote

Well he was a hard worker who just brought his lunch pail every day and found a way to help his team win. Or so the announcers would have led you to believe. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
Handy Johnson Posted July 26, 2019 Report Posted July 26, 2019 JPJ just signed a one year deal with the Clippers. He now joins a long list of All-time Clipper greats such as Danny Manning, Ron Harper, and of course franchise 3-point leader Eric Piatkowski! Cazzie22, Nebrasketball1979 and Norm Peterson 1 2 Quote
FredsSlacks Posted July 27, 2019 Report Posted July 27, 2019 (edited) might be the hardest roster in the league for him to actually get called up, but i guess you never know with injuries. sounds like he gets a 50k bonus plus 35k if he plays in g-league. not a bad deal. Huskerpapa Posted July 27, 2019 Report Posted July 27, 2019 Great for James. Great wing players to learn from. Quote

MitchMcGaryMunchies Posted October 6, 2019 Report Posted October 6, 2019 The LA Clippers are taking-on the Yao Ming-owned Shanghai Sharks in a preseason game from Honolulu. Being televised on NBATV right now. JPJ got 5 minutes of playing time (and 3 points) in their first preseason game against the Rockets, so you may have a better chance of catching a glimpse of Ty Lue in his Hawaiian shirt. 49r 1 Quote

MitchMcGaryMunchies Posted October 11, 2019 Report Posted October 11, 2019 JPJ is starting the 4th quarter for the Clippers against the Nuggets and again getting his shot at running the offense. Sharing the ball with another former B1G star in Amir Coffey. hhcmatt 1 Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted October 12, 2019 Report Posted October 12, 2019 It’s too bad he got cut already. I wonder if he had stayed with Phoenix where he had a favorable summer League had he had a better shot. Here’s hoping he gets a shot through the G League to get back to the league soon. Quote
