OWH gave an update- said his visit went great and Nebraska has moved way up to the top of his list. NU measured him at 6-4, 170. Hoiberg compared his skill set and game to DeMar DeRozan

Sounds good to me. Hunter Sallis would pair very well with Donovan Williams. GBR

That's a back court I don't want to see the Huskers face off against in the future

I would like to see Husker opponents have to face said duo. 😎

I would to, but as of now it looks like the duo won't be at Nebraska.

It appears that you know something, you want to elaborate?

Why do you think he's holding off signing his NLI if he's 100% committed as everybody thinks?

"Hunter, KU is an attractive program where you can go and get a few minutes of playing time, even start, and when you leave, they'll remember you for a year before they go on talking about Wilt Chamberlain or Paul Pierce.

"We can't compete with their history, but we don't aim to. We can compete with their present, though, and if you come to Nebraska, you could leave here with your jersey hanging in the rafters, and from now on until the end of time, Husker basketball fans will remember your name. And every March around tournament time when we make the dance, they'll lift their glass and toast Hunter Sallis, the local kid who got us that first win in the NCAA tournament."

That's kinda how I imagine the conversation going. Kind of a "Henry's speech at Agincourt" kind of vibe.

Once more unto the breach!

Great reference, Norm!

Didn't Thomas Allen choose Nebraska over a Kansas offer?

Yep, Kenya sealed that deal.  But we got pretty lucky on that one probably.
