New guy has been picked. Big ten ties but currently in SEC. They are excited about the hire. One time assistant at Northwestern I think.

Interesting. Based on our last experience with an assistant from Florida I suspect this one just found out that Florida will receive an FBI indictment & decided to get out while he can.

With all due respect your shooting percentage is a bit low on these things.

That means absolutely nothing. It's very common for coaches to be showing full support externally up until the very end.

Not sure what Robin had to say but I check into this and I think it's a matter of whether a candidate from the SEC who once coached at Northwestern decides he wants to come here.

Seems like a crazy good get for miles if he gets him. Would he become our associate head coach?
