20 conference games. A few are bound to get away from every team. Need Berke to get healthy.

The sky is not falling, Fred should not be on the hot seat, or season is not doomed. I really liked how we played in the first half all things considered. We still need to figure out our offense, otherwise teams will just blanket Connor and we have nothing else. The second half was sad to see. Come back and beat a talented but beatable Indiana team and everything is back on track.

Idk maybe I’m just used to a few road beat-downs every year and this didn’t really bother me. Caught an amped up, hot team on the wrong day. We matched up bad with them.

Lol— My wife walked into the room in the 2nd half and said “Oh now I know why your crabby” Funny thing was that I didn’t even think I was crabby at that point. Lol

We did not just beat Minnesota, we bludgeoned them. Their coach was p*ssed from beginning to end. Nice win ladies...very nice win. That said, Alexis is still not 100% on her game. She is closer than many think, but she a quarter turn off. When she gets going, we're going to be hard to beat. Lastly, we turned the ball over 20+ times. Think about that...we still blew them out. We need to work to reduce that turnover number.

The stats don't lie. Williams played 33:36 minutes and Did Not Get One Rebound! That pretty much sums up our effort today.

Ugh!!! Thank God for Capt. Morgan (x2)! And thank God I wasn’t able to take my boys to this game! (I’d hate for them to see my weeping the whole drive home. ) Never let a team outwork us again! Learn any other lesson necessary and… Turn the page. GBR!

The way Izzo coaches his team to grab and hold onto opponents and the refs being complicit in allowing it, I knew this one had very little chance of NU getting out of there with a dub, even with a somewhat close score at the half. A team basically has to beat MSU by 15-20 to get out of there with any sort of win is concerning, but the embarrassing 2nd half offensive *and* defensive effort is far more concerning for Hoiberg & Co. Well, I suspect now the coaches will have the players full attention, not unlike after last season's 2nd half debacle at Minny in the conference road opener. Overall, it will be a massive learning opportunity for the Huskers, we shall see what they glean from it on Friday night against the Hoosiers.

And that was Cale Jacobsen in the final minute to get NU over the 50-pt. hump. Sheesh.

She does, but I think that with everyone hanging on her she put more mustard on shoots that aren't opposed as much.

I chose to take a little time before responding to this beat down; but * Michigan State is better than I thought. They played hard-ass basketball, played much harder than us, and hit their shots. Congratulations to them. * The refs did set the tone of this game with their calls and lack of calls. * We played like a disorganized disaster. That is on both the staff and players. * I give credit to Morgan, he was the one player who played decently. * I do not often say the following, at least lately, this team was not ready to play, and they quit in the second half. * Without calling out the players individually, there better be some soul searching taking place on the flight home. We have players who do not understand what it is going to take to win in this conference. Some should understand, which is disconcerting. We may even have a player or two that should not be playing at this level. Deep breath, hopefully this is an aberration and we will take it out on Indiana.

In the immortal words of Bill Callahan, “it’s only one game it’s only one season!” Let’s hope it does not derail this season.

Saw a comment from FH in the post game that the team didn't practice well all week. I can understand a bad DAY of practice, but ALL WEEK? As the head coach, how in the hell do you let that happen?

Just saw we went from 45 to 62 in KenPom too. Losing is one thing, but losing like that hurts a lot especially when talking metrics. Still early in the season, but we can't let this carry over into the Indiana game. Indiana is almost a must win to me considering how hard it is to win on the road in conference. Plus, you add bad officiating to the mix and it makes it even harder. Hopefully, this was just a bad game, and we can get back on track next week. GBR!

I’m cool with the fans doing whatever, especially the students. It’s part of college basketball. The adult over the sound system while Morgan has the ball getting ready to shoot shouldn’t happen.

i would call this game a toss up. even though minny's non-con is probably worse than the huskers. a "pott-less" huskers and a "braun-less" gophers. amie just stated the huskers can't come out and play like they did against Lindenwood. she said if they do they could get beat by 30. i don't think it would be by 30, but, could be staring at an 'L'. I agree with Cazzie22 that it's a must win.
