Justin Patton! LOL. I don't care who they have on their roster as long as we roll them by 30 this year at PBA and then by another 30 the following year up at CLink. Actually I would take beating them by 1 and not having to look at the Bluebirds Sunday mass schedule at our regional site this year. Sorry to any Bluecrew sweater vesters who missed mass down in San Antonio, but a bunch of your fliers were found in the trash.

I don't know how I didn't see this thread.  Anyway, I am glad that we are in on a prospect before everyone else snatched them up.  I am not sure what position they are oficiall looking at him for, but in the state tournament he played most in the post.

Probably because it was on the recruiting board and just moved over since the commitment.

Yup...called an audible. This thread was pretty short and relatively benign so I thought it made sense to move.

Yeah, I was wondering if this wasn't a potential gray area...I suppose as long as the video was taken by a family member and they sent it to the LJS it's okay?  But still...I wouldn't want to be taking any chances.

Sounds like Lee B may have ruffled a few feathers by reporting this.

Sean Callahan: Very disappointing the Omaha World Herald chose to report this with "sources" instead of waiting to let Arop have his moment and tell his team and classmates tomorrow at South like originally scheduled. Obviously Robin [Washut] knew this info as well, but we respected the wishes of those at South.

Those "sources" close to Arop should've kept their mouths shut. Lee is a reporter. He simply did his job. No reason for Callahan or Washut to have their panties in a twist.

Sources say stuff all the time but those don't always turn into full newspaper articles. Lee could have just reported an update that he was near a decision.

I thought that was exactly what Lee did.  Lee didn't say he committed.  He said sources said Arop was expected to commit (but hadn't done it yet.)

Sean Callahan needs to just stay quiet about this.  His comments make it sound like sour grapes, especially when Rivals' business model relies on reporting these kinds of scoops ahead of the print media.  Lee jumping the gun doesn't steal Arop's thunder; it deprives Rivals of a headline tease:  "Is Nebraska Close to Getting a New Hoops Commit?"
