I think they did us a favor popping us into a high 11 seed and sticking us in San Antonio, where there are a lot of Husker ex-pats. Let's hope that city's as good to us in hoops as it is in football.

Man, it's been too long.

Even though Miles is a much better coach than Drew, Baylor will be a tough matchup.  We usually don't play well against zones, and I don't know if we can stop Isaiah Austin and Cory Jefferson inside.

the reality is that any draw for us would be a tough matchup. We're an 11 seed for a reason...:) I like the location and love the possibilities in this bracket for us as fans. Beats being in Greensboro playing North Carolina or something.

Just saw on ESPN, Baylor considered to be "overseeded" according to expert bracket predictors.  Most predicted them to be a 9 seed.

I do believe they are overseeded as a 6, but at the same time, I'm not a huge fan of the matchup.

I have no complaints on the draw.  Baylor has been jekel & hyde this year.  Sure San Antonio is only 2 hrs from Waco, but there's a lot of Husker alumni in Texas.  Hope they turn out in full force to offset the home court advantage for Baylor.

The 2 big guys will make it difficult for us to do what we like (drive to the bucket) but hopefully we can get them in foul trouble & hit some jumpers against that zone.

Glad to be in & not in the play in game.  All the other 6 & 7 seeds have their disadvantages, but for us to make a sweet 16 run this draw is perfect as we could have a very familiar opponent in round 2 (one that we have something to prove against).

Just have to cover Austin's good eye and we should be fine. Bad I know.

Very tough first round draw but a very good 2nd round draw.  So much better than playing Lville or something.  No question in my mind we are capable of beating Creighton.  First game will be very difficult.

I hate to say it, but Creighton could make a run. They can beat Wisconsin and Arizona (if they can get by us or Baylor).

Yes they could.  It is a favorable draw down the road.  Which means it is a favorable draw for us as well down the road.

I like our raid defense against Baylor's bigs. I think we can force a lot of turnovers.

Just don't leave Hanslip.

I recall watching Heslip light up 8 or 9 triples in a ballgame... no doubling that Brady guy, thankfully I don't think Baylor has a whole lot of other deep sharpshooters!
