Purdue a 1.5 point underdog at Penn State seems like a head scratcher. But then again so did the creighton Kansas line..

Road teams are 3-3 so far in conference play. Interesting stat as I am pretty sure road teams had a pretty decent record last year.

Penn State is tough people are sleeping on them.  That NIU transfer he's a center I can't pronounce his name, but he is really good.

I'm starting to think the B1G will finish in an 17-way tie with everyone at 11-9 and Minnesota at 0-20.

The ACC is down this year. A lot of mid teams.

 

I fully expect 4 bids with the #1, 2,3, and 5 seeds in the conference getting in.

It's really too bad that the B1G/ACC Challenge went away as both conferences actually have 18 basketball teams. It would have been great. Stupid Kevin Warren stripped the Big Ten from being on ESPN, so it probably wasn't going to happen but they could have kept it alive by having 9 B1G-ACC games on ESPN and 9 B1G-ACC games on FOX.

With the ACC talk imagine if Forbes fails to make the tournament again at Wake.  Guy has been on the bubble for like 5 straight years now, what a waste for Hunter.  he could've come here and been a legend forever instead he's sitting on the bubble at Wake Forest.

I feel some schadenfreude every time Steve Forbes fails with the guys he outbid us on in NIL

The difference between 4th & 14th in the B1G is pretty thin. Can't lose to the bottom feeders if you want to finish in the top half & be in the tourney conversation.

There are really not any true bottom feeders this year besides Minnesota that's what makes it so tough.  USC and Washington have enough talent to beat any team and Northwestern is well enough coached to beat anyone.  Usually there are about 4 bottom teams you can chalk up to a W.  Not this year.

I agree, that's why you have to beat the bottom 4-5 teams, because they are talented enough to win some games, and the teams that lose a couple of those aren't cracking 500 in a deep league like the B1G.

It's Collins's influence.  They've been like that the whole time he's been coach.  They've always been one of my least favorite conference opponents because of it, and Chris Collins is a not good guy.
