We now have 6 players who have averaged double figure ppg in their careers. I'm guessing we'll add at least one more. Kyle and Igor would both be in that category. Plus Sam, Ulis and Griffiths have all been contributors.

Don't think Nebraska has ever had that much previous year(s) production on the roster going into a season.

Offering a Kentucky-like suggestion to help pursuade William Kyle III to become a Husker.

I think it would be very effective if the Spring Game crowd chants his name this coming Saturday. I'm sure some brainy young person could lead the effort. I don't think Wake Forest fans will be inclined to do so. The rumor is he want(ed) to play close to home. Just a thought!

Or better yet, everyone could hang a dollar bill onto his belt.

That would only be $99,000. I'm guessing it will take a 6 figure number to beat what Wake Forest is offering.

Football, but along the same lines...

We now live in a world where true freshman transfer before the season starts:

Crazy world, but I’m happy that Rhule is pushing this kids to make their visit during spring practice, and practices in general, I remember when I was looking at colleges

for football, I’d see the game day environment, everyone is all smiles and energy is great, but I was in for a shock my first fall camp and spring camp, coaches are different energy is different and your just like what did I get myself into, I like that these kids are seeing this at NU

Per Amie Just, Wilcher said that A&M was one of the two teams pursuing him the most. No idea on the other.

I'm guessing Trev put in a good word as far as his character, work ethic, and being a good locker room guy.  He seems like a genuinely good kid and I hope he does well in his final year unless we meet up in the tournament again!

So much this.  It’s probably not every day you can grab a former P5, 3 point specialist, who is willing to accept a role of the bench, and who won’t cause problems, before stepping foot on campus.

But CJ is one of those guys.
