lol of *all* the Seger songs, you choose my least favorite....hahahaha. I remember getting Night Moves way back when and I think one of the sides led off with this song and I hated the off key piano intro so much that it took me two years to even play the whole thing! When I got older, and undrstood the lyrics a bit better, I did realize that it was lyrically a pretty good tune...:) But that title track....man, that was inspired work. My family's from Detroit on my father's side, so I got a soft spot for all the sons and daughters that did the motor city proud.

Having said that, if no one here posts anything from the MC5, I'm gonna be mighty disappointed! Get to it!

Grand Funk Railroad performed at the opening of Qwest Arena & Convention Center in Omaha, and it was a great show!

Had they made peace again by then? Farner playing with the two traitors?

IDK, I just enjoyed listening to the music, and it was a solid, solid show to open up the arena to all those who had a hand in getting the new arena built!

Michigan starting PG Dug McDaniel is still on his academics based suspension where he only plays home games and doesn't travel for road games.

This suspension still makes me laugh.  It’s so odd.

Huge game tomorrow. The team is beat down and fatigued. We can take a breath and regroup after this game, but we absolutely have to win. Michigan has more talent than their record shows.

I do have a slight concern that while the crowd will be aplenty, that it might not start out the liveliest. I hope I’m wrong, but the combination of a Saturday afternoon with a bunch of families and non-regular attendees plus the thought that Michigan is a sub par team worries me a little bit.

This team, especially tomorrow, needs that early energy boost to get out of the gate the right way. Everyone who sees this, please do your part.

*I very well could be, and hope to be wrong. The students are back, and the beers will be flowing, so it also could be raucous.
