Nice to have a somewhat favorable schedule down the stretch, but NU still has to win a bunch of games to get where they want to go. GBR

5/7 down the stretch and for every game under 5, we probably need 1 in the B1G tournament.

I'd say winning the tourney might allow NU to lose all 7 regular season games, but I'd rather not sweat that one out.

Scanning brackets manually, looks like we will probably drop to a 10 seed on Bracket Matrix when it next updates. Of course, last night wasn't about what we could lose with a loss, it was what we could have gained with a win.

I am very apprehensive about our remaining schedule.  After studying current B1G standings we could be in danger of falling into the bottom 4.  A win over Michigan will be a good start but that Penn State team is going to be a challenge.  Can we get some momentum and get over the hump on the road?

Yeah, I really like this team, but I do not trust them at all.

Don’t shoot the messenger but if this season ends in a Baylor 2014 type debacle I might have to move out to Arthur, the only town in Arthur County.

And the way seeds are currently working out, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that we would be matched up against Baylor...

Ranking doesn’t matter, NET does though.  They need to stay in the Top 30

Touché on NET being massive but it’s not the only metric and we are Nebraska - so they will find any reason to keep us out. Perception still matters. Wisconsin is screwing us

100% on other things matter in.  That was one of our “point to it and say no one else has this win” when in reality… now everyone has that win.

Watched the end of Wisconsin's 4th straight loss - and then switched to Creighton/Xavier but then realized after reading this thread I needed to root for Creighton to win that game - and just could not do that.   No fun to watch a Creighton game if I can't hope that they lose :)

You'll need to move to Mullen if you want 93 on your license plate as that's the county number for Hooker

Watching that game is confirming my assumption that he is actually my least favorite Big 10 player.   Just watched him commit an are hook offensive foul that wasn't called and then whine about not getting a foul called on MSU on the play.

Supposedly, Standhardinger drove out there after leaving the Huskers.  He was sorely disappointed. So he then drove to Chadron...

So Michigan State will stay ahead of us if they finish off Illinois. I did want the double bye (least resistance to a championship haha). But maybe Michigan state finally has their mojo. We play both teams once so minimal impact, but I can’t help myself from looking at the standings.
