Those are some big time numbers.  I believe Pewaukee  plays in the 2nd biggest division in Wisconsin.  Probably a class B school in Nebraska.

School has 846 kids. That's the size of a class A school.

Tim Franks is a 6’5” SG who is also one of 6 finalists for Wisconsin Mr. Basketball. He’ll be a D1 player.

According to Verbal Commits, he's committed to St. Thomas, the #138 team in Kenpom. So, yeah.

When I looked at it I thought 846 was the 9-12 enrollment.  Take out 1/4 that puts them about 635 which is class B in NE.  There are only about 4 schools below 1000 in class A for a 3 grade enrollment.

Yeah, they would be a pretty small Class A school in Nebraska, or a fairly large Class B.  Kinda/sorta a Pius size.

The good thing about basketball though is that he also excels with his AAU team, which includes all comers.

Today I learned that one of Nick’s teammates last year is starting as a true freshman for #11 Iowa State and averaging 13 ppg. Interesting.

Momcilovic from Iowa State has a brother that is still on the Pewaukee roster as well, who is a 6'8" junior.  Apparently he is not the same caliber of player, though, since if you look for any highlights of him his brother's highlights come up.

On Tuesday night Nick had another 40+ game (41) in a matchup with a D1 commit (Bradley) who is also one of 6 finalists for Wisconsin Mr. Basketball. Pewaukee won by 20.  He's now averaging 32.2 ppg, shooting splits are 55/40/82.

Inject the Nick Janowski vibes in my veins.

In response to the Wisconsin school classification convo. Pewaukee is in Division 2 (and ranked #2 behind Knueppel’s team). But they actually have played 3 of the top 6 ranked schools in Division 1 (largest classification). They lost to the #1 team, and beat the #3 and #6 ranked teams. Nick scored 30, 34 and 45 in those games, respectively.

Regular season is now over. 31.7 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 4.1 apg, 2.0 spg. Led team in every statistical category.

Pewaukee has won their first two postseason games and are now in the “Sweet 16” of the state playoffs. Last game, Janowski had 39 pts, 10 reb, 3 ast, 3 stl. Next matchup will be a tough test, going up against a highly recruited 4-star center and a 3-star combo guard with a few power 5 offers.

Pewaukee won again. Nick had 30, 8 and 4 and now they play in the elite 8 (sectional championship) today. Win this one and they’re headed to Madison.
