Sometimes production doesn't translate from a smaller conference to a larger one.  Case in point, Jaaron Simmons, PG, 6-1, 175, Houston/Ohio/Michigan.

I think that answers our “who is going to start at PG” question.

Could be. Or, if you want Banton, King and Allen out there with, say, Stevenson and Walker/Ouedraogo, Webster could play about 20 minutes at the point, Banton could play 20 minutes at the point and another 10-15 giving King and Allen a break. If Thor stays, there's another option to spell Allen at the 3.

In other words, Banton and Webster could split time at the point, with Banton starting.

Sweet!   Welcome Mr Webster!

I think this is great.   I think it insures that we have depth at every position.   With Webster in the rotation at point Banton can play other positions besides point as well.    That's important as we don't know if King will be eligible or not.

How does this fall under the recruiting quarantine?  Not trying to be a downer and I'm excited to land him. I'm just wondering what teams can or cannot do.

players can commit whenever the hell they want to. They met with him Tuesday in Indianapolis which is his hometown. Even with the current dead period players and coaches can still talk on the phone and text. He just can’t visit until the NCAA corona ban lifts.

Got any more Kobes?

There's a drop off in Kobes after King and Webster.

Kobe Brown would be all right, but only shoots 25% from 3.  He would have to sit a year..  https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/kobe-brown-1.html

Kobe Dickson is from Kansas, but only averaged 4 ppg at Cornell.  Also would have to sit a year.  https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/kobe-dickson-1.html

Kobe Wilson from Alcorn State averaged 6 boards, but only 3 points.  Has redshirted so maybe a grad transfer?  https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/kobe-wilson-1.html

Kobe Wilson from Arkansas State hasn't done very much just yet.  https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/kobe-wilson-2.html

Kobe Langley from UNC Greensboro hasn't made much impact either.  https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/kobe-langley-1.html

So, sadly, it doesn't look like a 3-Kobe lineup is in the works.
