Don't ask me to explain the rule. I know it's a dead period right now. I know that means we can't talk to the guy. Does that just apply to 2019 recruiting class? I have no idea. But if we're offering 2021 kids during a dead period, that must be the deal.

I believe that's the rule. Not 100% sure on it but it makes sense I guess. Can't offer 19 guys during dead period. Which would make sense why they offered like  8 guys that aren't in the 19 class

Really important to keep him on board. Really impressed that his family told him to at least hear Hoiberg out. Seems like a very thoughtful/supportive family.

 

That being said, if Jervay gets here and doesnt think it is right, I would say it is best for him to move on.

I want to take a second and provide the previous staff with a standing ovation.  IF, I read the recent takes correctly, the vibe around the team and so forth was extremely positive despite the outside noise.  If Jervay shows up and simply "Wants to feel the same good vibes he had coming to Lincoln his first time;" then I have to believe he is going to feel really good and he should want to get to Nebraska asap.  

 

We shall see.
