Considering we're looking like an 11-12 seed and Michigan is looking like a 5 seed, consider this a warmup for the sort of matchup we might face in the tourney.

With the amount of parity in college basketball this year, a 5-12 matchup doesn't seem all that overwhelming does it.

Good point!

And one positive angle for the Good Guys is this: the Huskers have been playing in a Tournament-like environment for weeks.  In every game, the refrain has been the same: win, or you are aren't getting into the Tournament.  So, the Good Guys have been playing under a win-or-go-home pressure for quite some time and should be comfortable with it by now.

For teams, on the other hand, who've been "in" for quite awhile, the pressure experience has been different.  Hopefully, this advantage for the Huskers is real!

Let us hope that this is not like the first appearance in the Big Apple which this team had. We have made a quantum leap since we faced St. Johns, so I hope the team believes this too. This game could otherwise make the next nine days quite gloomy.
