Report reply Faux Mike Peltz 1,519 Posted February 2 The student section all banging on the seat backs and bleachers made it sound like thunder. Not sure if the tv microphones picked up on that but it was cool in person. Cazzie22 and Silverbacked1 2 Quote Share this comment

Report reply AGHANSEN 162 Posted February 2 I am still in shock. Incredible comeback, incredible win! That may have been the best atmosphere in PBA besides "no sit Sunday". I have season tickets in 301 and it was loud up in the rafters. CJ, Mast, and Williams were unreal! Quote Share this comment
Report reply Red Rum 616 Posted February 2 I had a bad good feeling about this game. I was way too hyped up walking to the arena and I know, when I start off too high I end up too low. That first half almost proved me right again. That second half was incredible. I agree with Fred, that was the loudest game I may have ever been to. My throat is still sore from yelling last night. If it were solely up to Collier, we might at least be a 4 seed and host a game this year. Report reply Dead Dog Alley 3,016 Posted February 2 10 hours ago, hskr4life said: With all that being said... I'd much rather be on Purdue's side of the bracket than Wisconsin come March. At that point, would you rather win in the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament and take a shot at winning the championship game, or do you take the extra day of rest before the NCAAs? I'm thinking that if Nebraska is playing their third or fourth straight game on Sunday then the NCAA in their infinite wisdom would ship them to the east coast for a Thursday morning game. Report reply hhcmatt 22,106 Posted February 2 I'll say this for the crowd: It was juiced up tonight to the point that when I went to try and hit the bathroom with 3 minutes to go in the half to beat the crowd that there was a line out the door! One of the best in the conference and you won’t convince me otherwise. Part of that is the fans. Phenomenal. Best bang for the history we have in the entire nation. He definitely has to be 6th man of the year in the Big Ten. I really appreciate his attitude and the way he has embraced his role on this team. We wouldn’t be talking about potentially making the NCAA tournament without him. He very well could be our MVP this year. Report reply Huskerpapa 9,144 Posted February 2 Example from the Bucky board: After sleeping on it for a night, the refs sucked, but the Badgers did a lot to cause that problem. If we have learned anything, the refs seem to favor the team that is the aggressor if they are on a run and they favor the home team. Some of the calls last night were absolutely atrocious (like the call on Wahl where he ever so lightly touched the back of the Nebraska player that turned into a 3 point play. It was ridiculous given the hacking going on the other end. However, if the Badgers want to stop that kind of nonsense in the future, then play better. Execute. Be aggressive. Don't turn passive. Take the game to the opposition instead of letting them dictate. I stand by what I said previously, this is a good learning experience, even for a veteran group. Come tournament time you win by taking it. We let the crowd and Nebraska dictate to us last night and became timid with passing. Our offense ground to a halt because of poor ball movement and guys playing to "not lose" instead of playing "to win." Get after it Sunday and let's kick the crap out of Purdue. He won’t be sure he elite shooter that he can be if he doesn’t fix his mechanics. I don’t recall exactly when it started but he hit the game winner 3 with poor follow through mechanics and it has continued the last 3 games. He had a couple of wide open ones tonight that he didn’t have to hurry to get off and had bad mechanics. Got to get it fixed Watch the tape. He has always shot that way. Always seemed odd to me but if it works... Quote Share this comment

Wild to think they were getting screwed, especially in OT. I get the foul totals were skewed but they aren’t going to call fouls when Wisconsin was out of control for most of the 2nd half Quote Share this comment
