I will attempt to do back flips if we land him....immediate rim protector and he was set up to have a pretty darn good year before he was hurt.  Apparently best friends with Gill so he may be our best/lead recruiter on this one.

Wondered the same thing. Read an article that he broke his foot December 19 of this season and wasn't going to seek a medical hardship waiver. Wonder how those work with grad transfers. Is there a rule where grad transfers can only play 1 season?

That's the nice thing about landing transfer players from big name teams. You get an in with other players who may be looking to transfer

Yeah, Robin Washut's source told him it's a long shot too. That's not how it was presented to me (not by anyone on staff). Let's hope it's a lot better than a long shot. I hope this isn't a case of "telephone," where, by the time it got to me, the probability changed dramatically. He's a very close friend of Anton Gill and likely knows Jack McVeigh too. Hopefully that helps. I can't imagine a better opportunity for this kid in all of Division I than Nebraska.
