And show up, I counted because I had time during a time out, 80 empty seats in the side student section last night.

Didn't even try the end zone seats, because they let people from the 300's come down, so they looked fuller.

Maybe we need to start selling some of those seats becuase there is a waiting list and the less paying people ain't shown up...

I have a confession:  I sat during timeouts last year.  Me sorry.

Fat guy + bad knees = bad combination

I thought fat guy + bad knees guys got to sit at timeouts so that we could stand for the action. Because I did.

During the Wisconsin game, I felt we should only sit as often as the players in the game (COUGH...since they are probably not in any better shape than i am...cough cough) so I took that as license to sit during the break so as to keep my strength up for the sake of the team.

PS...if Jacobsen or Morrow want to put on 20 to 40 extra pounds, they can have some of mine.

I would say the same thing, but I don't think they want the pounds where I got em......

Thanks for the true confessions about standing for the entire game, which I would never do myself. Coming clean like this, like Brian Williams, always makes you feel better, doesn't it? And I've never been a fan of white outs from the tv perspective that I now view the games. They sort of remind me of Penn State and Michigan State and I prefer the red look. But that is just me.

I never sat once last year during No-Sit Sunday, it was awesome and I wish every game was a no-sit game. One thing that I still drives me crazy is that despite 15,000+ for almost every game, PBA can still be deathly quite at times. The student section is great, but they really need to be loud the whole game.

I'm planning on standing the entire game this year against Wisconsin again.  Worked last year so if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  If someone behind me tells me to sit down, I'm just going to reply that Coach Miles said I don't have to.

LOL.....I use this excuse at home too. Last night the wife told me to take out the garbage, Coach Miles says I don't have to.

All my Husker apparel is either black or red. I suppose I better head to Husker Headquarters before tuesday's game. :)
