Is it OK to complain about terrible, utterly disgraceful, abjectly miserable, completely aweful officiating after a win?

How about if the officiating is merely embarrassingly bad and incompetent?

I'm gonna have to T you up for asking those questions.  Come to think of it, probably 2 techs since you asked 2 questions.  Sorry, not sorry, but you're going to have to observe the remaining posts from the locker room.

The officiating flat out sucked.  Take that and do whatever the crap you want to do with it.  The official stared Shavon down waiting for the opportunity to T him up.  That said, it got the crowd into the game...

He told Miles it was for unsportsmanlike conduct.  I guess it is sportsmanlike to yell "Boom" when giving said technical.

I have no problem with any Minnesota fans bitching about the refs tonight either.  It definitely went both ways.

I agree.  I think it's OK for both teams to complain about the officials.  The officials shouldn't get a pass.  How else is there any accountability for what is a tremendously important part of the game?  The coaches can't say anything publicly.  If we don't, who will?

And I have no idea why it quoted you twice.

Officiating, and the attitude of the officials, was disgraceful.  They thought we all paid our $21 to watch them.

That said, we need to improve our attitudes.  All of our reacting, emoting, body language, arm flailing, has pissed off the ones in charge.  They were waiting for us, and not going to put up with it.  As bad as they were, we need to just play.  Let the coaches work them.  We now have a rep.

I'd like an explanation of the Pitchford technical. Did anything happen? From my vantage point, the little guy went in way after the whistle and Pitchford sent him to the baseline on the layup attempt. Then, when Walt tried to help him up, little man got all up in Walt's belly button. And then Walt was T'd up. Did he say something?

No clue really, that is why I struggled with the call.  I would guess it was because Walt appeared to rough him...kind of like hitting the QB high after he releases the ball

Walt didn't say a word.

It was for contact after the whistle.

It is fine as long as it is not insinuated that we got completely jobbed by it.  There were some very important calls down the stretch that we got as well.  But obvioulsy it was not a well officated game in general.

The one that I thought was a joke was when Shields got a rebound fell to the floor and minny got called for a foul. Because the minny guy fell with Shields.

Loved that the refs got the crowd into the game.  Without their technical assistance (which only cost one point per technical--thanks to Minni's ineptitude there), the crowd might have been much less intimidating.  So, a big thanks to the refs for providing a huge assist to the Huskers (normally, refs do that with close calls in favor of the home team) but the opposite got the crowd going tonight--big time!!

Edit:  just now saw the "Boom" video above--wow.
