ShortDust Posted August 26, 2014 Report Posted August 26, 2014 Dan from rivals put another post out stating that he wouldn't be one bit surprised to see him be a husker. He may still take both visits, but expects skers to be in a good place. OurDecay 1 Quote

MandRHusker Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Seriously? Rivals says he is scheduled Srptember 19. This would be huge! A regular commitfest! Quote
ajb5856 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Redblooded posted the emoticons again over on the other board. He knows something. This time he added a party time emoticon with the word 'soon' next to it. Quote
Red Rum Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 That's why I'm glad I'm not an insider. There is no way on God's green earth that I could keep my mouth shut if I had some kind of info recruits or commits or anything like that. ajb5856 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Hey Norm, whadya think? Would there be anyone that doesn't "fit" the Creighton "system"? My worry is that he doesn't get enough information from the coaching staffs of each "system" and has to go to a twitter fan poll to help him decide which system he will fit best in. Lol at any idiot who thinks they can influence a recruit by a tweet. Quote
Norm Peterson Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Hey Norm, whadya think? Would there be anyone that doesn't "fit" the Creighton "system"? Yeah, I can think of a few. I'd probably start with Geoff Groselle, Zach Hanson and Will Artino. They don't seem to fit the Creighton "system." Isaiah Zierden, Avery Dingman, probably a couple of others as well. 49r 1 Quote

hhcmatt Posted August 27, 2014 Author Report Posted August 27, 2014 Trollers who post here would quickly fade away if they weren't so effective at getting the regulars to argue with them. Word. People's obsession with Creighton is mind-numbing and pathetic. This is a Glynn Watson thread. Go post a topic somewhere else if you want to talk about Creighton's fan base. And yet the discussion is directly related to Glynn Watson and a Creighton fan's take on his recruitment, not a generalized discussion about their entire fan base. Now, back to the kudzu discussion.... Or was that in the D'Jery Baptiste thread? Creighton is the kudzu of this board. Anytime someone brings it up it just eats up the entire thread. Swan88 Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 The Creighton discussions on this board over the years present an interesting study in human nature. The Husker faithful have endured a long stint of Jaybacker posts on this board explaining in great detail how their MVC (now Big East) team and program are, simply, better. The Husker faithful took great umbrage at such explanations and tried to fire back with contravailing arguments, only to be met with what seemed to Husker faithful as absurdities in response. But now, the worm seems to have turned in many respects from the Husker faithful perspective (with Nebrasketball on the ascendancy and the Jays looking in the rear view mirror at their McBuckets glory days). And the perceived turn of fortunes is, therefore, a pleasing turn of events for Husker faithful with inclinations to celebrate and gloat just a but on a message board like this. 49r Posted August 27, 2014 Report Posted August 27, 2014 Mostly it has to do with the fact that we're really excited to find out if we can land this kid, and there being no real news to discuss (but our desire to keep the conversation going), we resort to discussing *their* discussion on him. We could probably dig up some conversations on a Tennessee board about him if that would make folks happy. But they aren't as much fun to antagonize. At any event, it's more a result of boredom and not much to talk about right now. AuroranHusker and aphilso1 2 Quote

Also heard he was having a problem spelling his name correctly. Quote
