One game

One game.   There has got to be a way to win just one game that nobody thinks you can compete, let alone walk out with a win.  Because of that, there's almost nothing to lose but much to gain.  Even so, the Michigan State game has a bunch on the line.

 

What's it going to take?  What's gotta give?  How can we pull it off? 

 

I have never been so jacked for a game that I didn't think we'd win before.   Please, Huskers, find a way!

We have to play loose and with no fear, not tentative. Attack the rim, let it fly, see what happens. A good start is critical in this game. We can't play catch up against them all day.

I don't agree that there's much on the line (for us). But they need to play like there is. They can't have a Creighton/OSU/Michigan performance, though. They need to show some fight.

Ray is shooting at a higher clip from FT FG and 3, but he just has been absent in games this year where last year he was at least putting up shots.   NU's gotta get him some looks by getting in the lane and getting some kickouts if the help defense is down low.  Ray has got to score tomorrow.

Key is not to get blown out.  If we can stick around and keep it close, then crazy things can happen.  But we have to be on.  Can Terran and Shavon get to the rim?  Can Walt hit a few from deep?  Can we hold their guys in check? 

 

They have two starters out for this game but they probably think they can skate past us anyway, without breaking much of a sweat.  We need to hang around.  Keep them within arm's reach.  And in the last couple of minutes, it's anybody's game.

There was a game early in the 90-91 season against #5 ranked Michigan State that made people start to take notice of Husker hoops and started a heck of a run for Danny Nee.  A win tomorrow could be eerily similar.  Here's to history repeating itself.  GATA!

Exactly. Play like we did early in conference play against Michigan. Comebacks like Illinois and Northwestern just won't cut it.

Shavon like many huskers over the last decade will have monster game then zip the next. Need he and TP to really have big games...love to see Walt knock some threes and see leslee work inside

I just hope this team doesn't stress too much about this. That can lead to bad and nervous play. I'm sure they know how big of a game this is
