KenPom says we get our first B1G road win at Washington.

By the way, this reply was given only as a data point and is in no way meant to imply an official entrance in this contest.  So, if by chance we do, in fact, get our first road win at Washington (which I genuinely hope happens sooner) I will not be accepting any prize, that should be given to @HB and whoever else says Washington instead.

I too hope we win sooner and I am shut out, but if that's our first win, I will not be too proud to accept Cip's largesse.

This would probably be the best starting point to get the prize to the rightful owner...

Feel like the contest needs cancelled.  Haven't won a game since it started.

Okay, it's cancelled. Let's start a new one. Submit ideas for a new contest, and the one who gets the most up votes will get some beef sticks.  Then, whoever wins that contest will get some burgers and steaks. Give some inspired ideas. Our season depends on it.

What game and time on the clock does Gavin Griffiths make his next appearance

My contest idea: who can identify the starting lineup of Hampton's 1978 team.

Since this contest has been reduced to boring stuff, let's start a new contest when the Huskers are on a 4 game winning streak. Thanks for the memories, Dead Dog Alley. We actually had two starting lineups that year. The program you referenced, was the best we played all year. It was the Hampton Holiday Tournament with Polk, Hordville and I believe Shickley, although it could have been Nelson. Those 3 teams were all undefeated. We weren't. We won the tournament, though. The OWH had a reporter there.

Best part of seeing this 1) Home number-evens  Away number-odd

                                        2) only using the numbers 0,1,2,3,4,5 because the ref only used one hand to signal the number to the scorer on fouls

                                        3) underclassmen listed at 5'3'

                                        4) catch some heat for this one, no freshman on varsity😉

Hey guys,

I will come up with another contest this season, but I'm not sure what or when.

I wasn't going to say anything, but Mrs. Cip told me she posted this on her Facebook page, so I guess that gives me permission to share.

I didn't watch any of the Washington game. Had to get up at 4 am Thursday to take her to Bryan West for a double mastectomy. They took 4 lymph nodes also, finding cancer in the first two. We have to wait a couple weeks for results on the other two.

Why am I sharing this? To give people hope. We will win this battle. Just like we will win the MDS battle with Seth. Typically, life expectancy with his battle is 7 years from diagnosis.  We just started year 15.

When I said we will win this battle, it's not us winning, it is that God wins! So far, He is undefeated. That's why I'm so confident.

We are all looking forward to Sunday. Church, a Huskers victory and the Super Bowl! Haven't decided what I'm cooking yet. 🙂

Thank you for sharing a positive message in the midst of a battle your wife will win.  F*ck cancer.  I will be sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.

As far as what to cook,.may I recommend roasting some nuts early afternoon   it will be fitting.
