Quentin will be on an official visit to Lincoln this Friday along with fellow Top 150 recruit, Tommy Ahneman.

Quentin's recent tour of schools is as follows:

September 5 - New Mexico

September 12 - Boise State (not sure if it happened, he didn't post about it on X 😬)

September 20 - Nebraska

September 28 - UC Santa Barbara

October 4 - UNLV

Not sure how much faith I'd place in this given he hasn't even setup OVs to three of these schools, but the most recent On3 predictions have him trending towards one of the following:

Wichita State (30.8%)

TCU (26.9%)

Nebraska (23.1%)

Wisconsin-Green Bay (19.2%)

Seems like a 4-star, top 150 recruit should have a little stronger offer list than this? I would think New Mexico or UNLV are the teams we are actually battling for his services, but who knows?

Was it Boise State that had the whooping cough outbreak last weekend?  I'm likely misremembering

Looks happy to be in Boise

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I haven't seen anything about him. Matter of fact, he only came on my radar once he committed.

He cracked the top 150 this summer by putting up 40 points in a tourney where he was nailing 3s and getting to the rim. He's skinny now but has the frame to add more weight. Seems Brice Willams like though I don't know what Brice looked like at this age.

  • hhcmatt changed the title to 2025 G Quentin Rhymes is N

Senior stats, per On3:  26 pts,  8.8 reb,  4.3 ast. His team is 22-2. Not sure how good the competition is, but there are a few other division 1 players on his team and it's a prep school out of Phoenix, so I assume they play somewhat of a national schedule.

He's listed at 6'7" 205 on their roster. Wiry and athletic. With Rhymes and Frager on the wing, there will be no lack of positional size and athleticism there. They can both shoot it, too. Only question is how soon they'll be ready to contribute. Rhymes will be a 20 year old freshman.

I really want to see Rhymes and Nick J off the bench next year.  Get a portal big guy similar to Andrew to come off the bench and that's pretty good depth

I think we'll see all 3 freshman in bench roles next year, with one of the two redshirting having a good chance at major minutes. Early guess is Nick J, but depends how he's doing in practice

Think Nick J too, but I always try and remind myself that in today’s day and age, no one is guaranteed to be back. So tempers somewhat of my excitement.

I'm keeping that in the back of my head. Frager is from here so I have to think he'll stay. Janowski I think should stay due to bump in minutes and role next year. Physically, he looks ready to go.

Agree with Jano— he has the chance to be a multi-year starter and 4 year major contributor. That’s almost unheard of these days.
