Would like us to go after players that will push our starters for their spot. Much like Cook does in VB. With Williams ACL and Logan's surgery I think we need to pickup a 3 point shooting guard if one is available.

Hayley Van Lith is available.

i read where A. Stewart attended the NDSU-Gopher wnit game at williams arena. gopher?........or, maybe a bison? or, could mean nothing although she is from both areas. maybe just there to watch her classmates.

it would be huge for the bison (if that should happen). i have watched a handful of the bison games this past season and they have a 6' 3" "guard" Elle Evans who i think is from illinois. she is very talented. i believe she will be a junior. kinda wondered if she might hit the portal and try the next level, but, there are deep pockets at ndsu.

meant to add:  mara braun was limping around after the game (she had foot surgery a while back). she didn't play in the wyoming game.

speaking of, Elle Evans has entered the portal......Illinois???

Would fill into the Jaz role.  But just like on the mens side... culture and fit is important.

Wait what, don't let some of the talking heads on this side see that you typed that. The heads will explode.

She has a toughness that I think we could really use.  I was thinking Chen from Princeton or Amoore might actually be better fits for the team though.  Truthfully I doubt any are possible, but going forward I think we have good guards, so just having that senior to sure things up while we recover and gain experience is what I think we're in need of.

I noticed a 6'3" guard from Bridgeport, NE.  I do not remember the name from state, but that might be a pick up we could get.  Does anyone have the 411 on Ruthie Loomis

Loomis-Goltl is a post player who redshirted at CU this year.   Wondering if she will portal down a level—just speculation on my part.  I think her younger sister signed with Northern Colorado; perhaps they will play together.  Nebraska didn’t offer Ruthie previously.

Georgia Amoore (Va Tech) would be a good get.  She'd fit right in (from Australia) and contribute immediately (lit us up for 24 pts when we played them in Dec 2022).  Although in the Portal, I believe she may already be spoken for.

I do remember her at the state tournament.   She was a very good player; but she was a C2 or C1 talent.

Could she develop, sure.  Was she ready to play at the highest level...no.

Coaches know more than I do, so we will see what happens.

i haven't seen/heard any announcement out there, so, just thought i would pass out 3 scenarios that i was discussing with an old buddy from sioux falls area. or, maybe should say these are the 3 "rumors".

from most probable to least:

1. the "no contact" mention in her portal news just means she has a handful of P5 schools that she would be interested in and is seeing what could develop there.

2. she is going to Colorado State to play with her sister. i mentioned to him that if she had her heart set on playing with her sister, she probably would have announced that by now. he agreed.

3. wants to come back South Dakota.......in which she would most likely end up at SDSU. could be wrong but i don't see it.

anyway, all but speculation.

still think she would be a very nice addition to the huskers, but, like i stated before she is from Illinois. i have no idea if Greene has an opening or not (or, if they have interest) 6'3" can drive to the rim, can shoot the 3
