Looks like Moser was making $2.8 million at Oklahoma which isn't really all that much these days.  DePaul may not be able to pay exactly that much but I bet they would be able to get close and from the sounds of things, he really hated living in Oklahoma, so I could see him being willing to take a pay cut to get back to Chicago.

Sounds like Moser wanted more money and the promise of a new facility and is going to get it from OU after playing hardball. 

 

OU letting a coach walk for Depaul is pretty bad optically. Can't let that happen. Even tho it sounds like Depaul was ready to pay the $6.5 million for his buyout.

Today and tomorrow are usually the days where the P6 jobs start to open up.  The teams typically looking for coaches aren’t playing past Thursday in most instances.

Transfer portal starts on Monday. If you don't have your guy or your guy in waiting by then, you're looking at blowing year 1.
