The path to the #10 seed:

 

March 5

11:00 am (CT): Penn State at Maryland

1:00 pm: Nebraska at Iowa

6:30 pm: Wisconsin at Minnesota

The silver lining is if Wisconsin does lose, we cannot be the 12 seed.  A possible tournament path would be Minnesota, Michigan, Maryland, Iowa (could be a 2 seed if they beat us Sunday).  That's not exactly a murderers row.

Well, it’s the Border Battle so throw the records out the window. Plus the Gopher’s are feeling their Oats after that 2nd Conference Win so it might be tougher for Bucky than you think…

It is possible for us to get the #10 seed with Wisconsin losing.  Michigan beating Indiana would help the cause.

Forgot that we would then be in a 2-way tie, not 3-way tie warranting different tiebreaker scenarios, then taking a tiebreaker scenario for both Maryland and Michigan.

I know the old adage it's tough to beat a team three times in one season.  The Huskers just punked Iowa twice, Rutgers on the road, Creighton on the road.  See you on Friday of the B1G Tourney!

I just looked and if we beat Minn.  we play the 6th seed who right now in Iowa I think. Could that change

Yes, lots of possibilities still.  I plugged in an Indiana win over Michigan and NW over Rutgers and that dropped Maryland to 6.  Still several possibilities.

Ok, I think I have this nailed down, assuming an Indiana win against Michigan.  With an Indiana win, Maryland is locked into the 6th seed.  The three would be Michigan State if Rutgers wins against NW but if NW wins, the three is Indiana.
