This is going to be the ultra rare time that I wear the opponents colors at a Husker Basketball game.  Doane grad class of 2011.

Has to be one of the most boring non-con home schedules possible, right? South Dakota State is about the only somewhat interesting game.

Definitely a year one schedule for the new regime. Aside from the exhibition, there'll be Nebraska kids on SDSU (Baylor Scheierman from Aurora, David Wingett from Winnebago) and UND (Brady Danielson from York)

November 5th is the earliest season opener in program history. Two Friday night games and two Saturday games on the slate.

I agree completely and totally. Depends on our draw in the Caymans but this is about as favorable as it could be.

Perfect schedule for a team with Thor as its leading returning scorer.

Maybe I’m just a massive homer, but even with a brand new team that needs name tags for the first month of the season I expect the floor to be something like 16 wins, mostly because the non conference schedule is terrible and we should be much better later in the year.

Something that is enormous for this team is that the foreign trip to Italy in August is gonna give them a chance to play together and get to know each other early on. Hopefully the chemistry at least has begun to develop well by the beginning of non con.

I can understand playing a soft non con with a new, young and inexperienced team. Build some confidence in the team but it could be like hitting a brick wall once conference starts. I'm sure down the line the schedule will be more demanding as this is not college football where you get rewarded for having a soft "favorable" schedule.

Looks like we have played them in Tennis but that's about all...and the most recent that I can find in that is 2008.

If this is the schedule in year 5 I'd be disappointed.

 

So much turnover that I'm honestly relieved.  With that schedule we could hit 20 wins given one hot stretch in conference (that's not exactly a big reach).
