Prentiss Nixon is leaving CSU as a transfer.  Was ranked the #13 player in Illinois the same year that Glynn Watson was #3 player and Ed Morrow #5 player. Was CSU leading scorer with 16 points game. Unfortunately point guard which we don't need.looks to be good friends with Glynn Watson. BY  the way the number 1 player was Jalen Brunson

From a Pittsburgh  newspaper on Tarin Smith:

Sources tell PSN that despite telling coaches he’d be returning, Smith has decided to leave and it could be parental influence.

Smith is a native of New Jersey and played for Bob Hurley Sr. in high school, so, don’t be surprised if UConn becomes Smith’s next home.

Owens of St. John's is my no. 1 target at this point. Averaged almost 3 blocks a game. Luther is good, but coming off an injury and would be another stretch 5.

Owens to Texas Tech. His second choice was Maryland, so at least he didn't pick the Terps.

This is shaping up to be a crappy week.

Is it just me, or it almost too quiet on this front?

Kind of a "Mr. Obvious" moment.   We just lost our top recruiter and longest-serving assistant.   Still no word from the AD on Miles' contract.   Not exactly a good environment for recruiting top transfers.

Seems like a really good time to recruit our current players

I believe we have two scholarships as Tanners isnt promised to be renewed.

Not to mention 3 guys who have put in their names for professional consideration.   We won't lose all 3 but we'll lose at least one.

Always possible someone else goes as well.....one wing in particular wouldn't shock me.

Yep and it’s not like we didn’t have someone try to transfer mid season as well.

We shoujd be recruiting for two spots at a minimum

If Miles is as really as comfortable with the roster as he makes it seem, im surprised we arent targeting more RS transfers. As of right now our senior class is loaded next year.
