One thing to note that if Ullis is suspended for an entire season he does have another year of eligibility.

I'd take him on the scout team this year, then the active roster next year. Would be good for our other ball handlers to practice against him every day. 

I'm just guessing, but I doubt Iowa wrestlers wagered on wrestling matches.  I'll bet Ullis never plays here or at any other college program, scout team or other.

Iowa cares more about illegal gambling than any other state in the union, why?  They brought casinos on all their borders years ago.  Now, they have a panty up their ass to collectively prosecutive anyone who gambles on their lame sports teams.  What a bunch of pussies.

According to NCAA guidelines, the punishment for athletes who wager on their own sport at another school is a loss of 50% of their remaining eligibility. Those who bet on their own teams or other sports at their own schools — as Ulis allegedly did by gambling on Iowa football — “will potentially face permanent loss of collegiate eligibility in all sports.”
