Because some writer wrote that he's not? There had to be something to the rumor or it doesn't spread that fast. Multiple people heard something, so there was something. Not saying he'll end up here but just as saying he certainly will... We also can't certainly rule it out.

So yeah we're all just going to take this article as final word? I don't think so. What else can he say right now? He's still on scholarship with Louisville and he hasn't graduated yet. This isn't the final word on Mathiang. It doesn't end up in the journal star without reason.

I have been watching his prorgress, if you can call it that.  His numbers aren't exactly eye-popping. He played for the first time in 5 games against Tennessee.

These have been the stats of most of the big men recruits we've whiffed on. I definitely think we need to pursue Jordy and whatever large players but honestly I think Tshimanga puts up numbers like this the first year he's at Nebraska because all these post players take time to mold.

Hmmm.  I actually do believe the journalists read our message board.  I also believe that someone(s) within the basketball staff reads this message board as well.  Oftentimes they simply laugh off what is written here, but I believe you can gather the feelings of the true fans by reading through the various subjects.  Plus, every once in a while you will see a reference to a very hot topic that is appearing on the board.

 

Again, more often than not, they may read something and laugh it off, but there are certainly times when we bring up smoke, the journalist find or make fire.
