PimpMario Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 We are 3-1 on the road and 1-3 at home in conference. Maybe this team has a better attitude in the road? Maybe less pressure? Quote
tuxino Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 I don't think we are based on nothing really. What I saw yesterday was a reality check. Our team will never play a game where they don't need to bring their A game. Michigan schooled our younger players and it showed. I believe it was an eye opener and we will see better team ball going forward. tux Quote
brfrad Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Northwestern and Indiana caught us when the team was not playing well for 40 minutes. We had some spurts, but we couldn't put a full 40 minutes together. Yogi made some crazy shots against us, also. I will say if we have a 12 point lead against Northwestern, now, we roll them. Illinois missed shots. They shoot their percentage from 3, they beat us. I think it's a really good sign, the success we have on the road. Especially, with the young players not being rattled. Quote
uneblinstu Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 We've had much better match-ups on the road. hhcmatt 1 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 Well...scoreboard tells us we are in fact better on the road (in conference) this year. Quote

royalfan Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 I would much rather we were playing the rest of our games at home. It is too small a sample size to judge. Teams have also shot over their heads in Lincoln. Speaking of which, man that Northwestern game stings. That damn banked in trey NW had to turn the game late is going to loom large down the road I am afraid. Quote

Before we won at Rutgers we lost 13 road games in a row. How much simpler is it than we didn't close against a Northwestern team who's style we don't match up well against, played a good game against a Michigan St team who we do match up on, and then beat bad teams on the road and lost to good teams at home? Fact: We haven't lost on the road since I left my red sneakers in California. Is that something that should be added on? AuroranHusker 1 Quote

jimmykc Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 Dimes, were those red shoes the ones you clicked together while saying "There's no place like home"? hhcmatt 1 Quote
trickey Posted January 29, 2016 Report Posted January 29, 2016 Perhaps this Curtain of Distraction would give us a home edge. Maybe we could stop those end game free throws from killing us. Quote
